'The one thing that really disappointed me about this place is that their listing on Hotels.com mentions an airport shuttle, but on arrival they tell me to take a taxi, as they 'do not do airport transfers'. As I specifically picked a non-chain hotel that -did- have an airport shuttle, this led to my stay costing USD 80 more than anticipated. 'My first stop was at the bar for a post-travel drink and the bartender was incredibly nice. Check-in staff was hospitable and friendly. Room was very spacious and great for a good nights sleep. The gym was NUTS. Nicest hotel gym I have ever seen, potentially. The location made it super easy to get around... walkable to everything I needed, including public transit and the skywalk. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!'

'We had a great time! Enjoyed everything being easy to access. My kids loved the pools and the kayaks. Food options on site are excellent! We ate El Jefe’s twice. "The location made that I choose for Hotel Felix River North. Second reason was the price. It was good and functional for my stay. If I had to mention a suggestion to improve, it would be addiing one or more facilities: they offer non! no restaurant, no breakfast, no bar, no spa, no office space. OK, they have a tiny little space which looks like a bar, but nobody serves there (I tried a couple of times!), so that is more a piece of art than an actual bar. For the rest, as mentioned: OK. Public transport was nearby, just around the corner an Irish pub and some restaurants at close distance. I would use this hotel again for my next stay in Chicago."
