'Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.'

'This property was a very positive surprise during my trip to France. The experience provided by the couple that run La Pomélie was beyond expectations. The place has clean and comfortable installations, the reception was warm and informative about the surrounding area, and the breakfast was rich, all made by the owners using local ingredients. 'Het is een heel oud domein met een prachtig park. We werden gastvrij ontvangen met een lekker glaasje wijn , mijn partner een fris biertje en een lekker stukje kaas. Francois denkt aan alles, zelfs aan de sterkte van je koffie s'morgens. Een heerlijk ontbijt buiten en de kamer was ook heel gezellig en proper. Er is zelfs een make-up remover voor de dames, om maar aan te tonen dat dit een top gastverblijf is.'

'We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. 'eerste indruk was negatief, zwervers in de straat, geen parkeerplaats zoals ze wel beloven bij de reservering. Auto wel eenvoudig betaald kunnen parkeren naast de zwervers die 's nachts ergens anders een slaapplaats hebben. receptie gaat pas om 17:00 uur open, dat past niet bij deze tijd! Zwembad en fitness zijn afgesloten als de receptie niet bemand is. Dit is waardeloos omdat de receptie zeer beperkte openingstijden heeft. Dus eerste indruk is slecht, achteraf toch een redelijke accomodatie....
