Super outdated and really needs to be refurnised and a makeover. 90's hotel without any upgrade since then. It is that this place was logistical a good stay for my businessapointments in the neighbourhood, but next time I will stay in city centre and take taxi's or use e-scooters. One of the main reasons to saty in a hotel is that they clean your room at daytime. They did not.

Mooi hotel, ideaal gelegen
Het hotel is erg mooi en top gelegen. Zo sta je binnen 5 minuten op het station en de bus halte zit voor de deur. Met openbaar vervoer ben je binnen 15 tot 20 minuten midden in het centrum. Het ontbijt menu heeft alles, de decoratie is herfstig (in mei). De spa is heerlijk en het personeel erg aardig en behulpzaam. De omkleed ruimte in de spa is wat gedateerd. De bedden zijn heerlijk en slapen top. De douch kop is klein. Algeheel het hotel is top, hier en daar zijn er wat kleine details die verbeterd of anders zouden kunnen.

Nice hotel close to the river Donau
We stayed a weekend in this hotel and were satisfied with almost everything, except the restaurant. The organisation during breakfast was terrible. Material like spoons, forks, cups, etc. were constantly missing, buffet was not replenished in time, staff was uninterested and unfriendly. We recommend to take breakfast somewhere else.

Hotel staff wasn't helping out
I've stayed in this hotel for a week during the Sziget festival. The place was tidy and got cleaned every day but pretty expensive though. When I got in a fight with my sister, I called the reception. They took very long to get there and didn't help with anything. After that, I booked a new room for the last night by myself. Again, the staff wasn't coming up with a solution or discount. Even asking for a towel I forgot in the room I've stayed in before took two attempts and I eventually just wasted my time (at least 30 minutes in total) on that one.

Zogenaamd vijfsterrenhotel ver van het centrum
Vijf sterren suggereert allure, luxe en verzorging. We werden verwelkomd door een receptioniste die 'please' en ' thank you' zo vaak in een zin zei, dat je niet meer wist waar ze het over had. De kamer was oké. De kingsize bedden waren iets minder kingsize dan verwacht (gewoon twee losse bedden die ze nog even een stukje uit elkaar moesten zetten) en het beloofde uitzicht over de Donau was niet spectaculair, omdat er nog een drukke weg, een botenwerf en veel struikgewas tussen lag. Halverwege de week wilden we graag schone lakens, d.m.v. een kaartje op het bed kon je dat aanvragen, maar het dekbed werd gewoon weer erover heen gelegd zonder zelfs de lakens recht te trekken. Ook de schoteltjes van de kopjes werden niet schoongemaakt: gewoon servetje erop en ander kopje. Het personeel was niet op de hoogte van bv. opening van markthal op 2e paasdag, het bestaan van een bootlijn vlakbij en het ontbijt was een ware aanfluiting. Om negen uur was er vaak al geen roomboter, vleeswaren, kaas en sap. Daar moest dan eerst een aantal keer om gevraagd worden. De gebruikte ontbijttafels werden op een hele speciale manier voor de volgende gasten in orde gemaakt: spullen eraf, placemats even uitschudden op de vloer (ja, echt) en de volgende mocht aanschuiven. Bij het uitchecken hebben we na onze opmerkingen twee ontbijtjes cadeau gekregen. Gelukkig is het openbaar vervoer prima geregeld in Boedapest, volgende keer ander hotel.

Hotel met slechte houskeeping en communicatie.
Het hotel is in principe ok maar tijdens ons verblijf van 5 dagen is elke dag wat fout gegaan : alleen 1 glas in de badkamer, minibar 2 keer niet bijgevuld, douchegel niet vervangen, 1 stekker in de kamer was stuk, kamer niet goed schoongemaakt, kussen op de grond, thee en suiker niet bijgevuld,in het restaurant kwam ons eten nadat 3 andere tafels die na ons kwamen hun hoofdmaaltijd hadden gekregen, het werd mij verteld dat ik kon de avond voor vertrek betalen maar toen ik dat wou doen tussen 23 en 24 uur is mij verteld dat het mogelijk was vanaf 3 uur s'morgens omdat zij bezig waren met de administratie.De locatie van het hotel is ver van het centrum.Personeel is wel vriendelijk.

Goed rustig gelegen hotel .
Een prima hotel ! De eerste kennismaking met een dame van de loby wat minder . Vroege incheck niet mogelijk . Zelfs na 15.00 kregen wij de sleutel . Toch is de hele week uitstekend bevallen . Vooral de Spa. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk , en denkt mee over behandelingen . Ook goed om te weten , er is een dokter aanwezig 2x in de week ! Wij zijn er 2 x een lang verblijf geweest , en kom zeker terug :)

Ich hatte ja nun den direkten Vergleich zum Danubius Hotel Helia. Betten auseinander, Badewanne Lack abgeplatzt, Haare auf dem Boden vom Vorgänger, Whirlpool viel zu klein..ständig besetzt und somit für uns nicht nutzbar. Samstag früh 06.30 Uhr kam die Müllabfuhr direkt vor unserem Zimmerfenster. Alles in allem gefiel es mir in dem anderen Hotel besser und wenn ich wieder mal in Budapest sein sollte werde ich das Hotel Aqiuncum meiden.

This hotel is out of the way but was suitable for the area where I needed to be. Good public transportation in the vicinity but it would be hard to figure out for most tourists. The hotel is run down, the furniture beat up; the rooms are poorly soundproofed. The bathtub was very slippery, can't understand why they have bathtubs instead of showers in any hotel. The worst was the gathering of smokers just below my window, it was too hot if I kept the window closed, stunk when opened it plus loud as they were well lit too. There is a smoking area further out but they all gathered just outside the front door, keeping their drinks on an antique, Roman inscription to Vespasian.

The breakfast was not included in the rate and I requested it to be charged to the room. Before leaving the dining area, they asked me to settle the bill, but I hadn't brought my wallet, so I insisted again that it be charged to the room. Later, some manager followed me to the elevator to try to charge me again. Once more, I told him I had no way to pay him at that moment. As soon as I reached the room, reception called me to come down and pay for the breakfast. Their billing procedure was very unpleasant. The person who charged me at reception was quite sarcastic about it. The facilities leave much to be desired and the rooms are not in the best condition. Old and worn furniture. Although it wasn't dirty, it looked dirty.

Wir hatten eine wirklich gute Zeit! Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer gut angebundenen Lage mit Blick auf die Donau. Das Vorhandensein von Schwimmbädern, Sauna und Wellness gaben uns die Möglichkeit, nach langen Tagen in der Stadt zu entspannen. abwechslungsreiches und reichhaltiges Frühstück.

A szobânkban fürdés után szivàrgott a víz a kadból a csempén keresztül.A folyosó 1 hét alatt egyszer sem lett felporszivózva. Az éttermi adag nagyon kevés,ezért élelmiszerboltot kellett keresnünk. A wellness nem lenne rossz,de annyira retkes a nyugàgyon a huzat,hogy az embernek nincs kedve ràfeküdni. A gluténmentes croissant ehetetlen.Amúgy az egy jó pont,hogy egyáltalán beszerezték. A szilveszteri menüsornàl segítettek abban,mit tudok enni,ami allergén mentes. Az pedig,hogy Bp-en ha nem beszélsz egy hotelban angolul,nem tudsz semmit rendelni,egyenesen felháborító.A személyzet többsége ugyanis csak angolul beszél.De miért nem ők tanulnak meg magyarul?Elvégre nem Angliában vagyunk.

Très bien comme hôtel soirée réveillon tres bien petit problème on avait 2 chambres ma fille arrive dans ça chambre elle était déjà occupée il c étais trompé de chambre. On peut ce poser la question sur la sécurité de notre chambre si il donne des cartes des chambres occupées. 2 em problème le jeudi on part pour 10h le matin on revient vers 19h la chambre avait pas était faite.
