Accomodatie ligt dichtbij Legoland en Lego House is op 15 minuten wandelen. Kamer is prima en ruim. Douche eenvoudig, maar netjes. Bedden liggen erg goed Ontvangst aan de receptie viel tegen. Max 1 persoon die geholpen werd, waardoor lange wachtrijen ontstonden ( niet enkel inchecken, maar ook voor bar en voor evt vragen). Er staat een kaart met mogelijkheden qua diner omdat ze dit zelf niet aanbieden in het hotel. Wanneer je om hulp vraagt voor de websites kunnen ze niet helpen, omdat ze het normaal gesproken altijd telefonisch regelen... Tip: Als je het aanbiedt, dan moet je ook kunnen helpen. Ontbijt was goed. Let op dat je moet reserveren! Wordt netjes uitgelegd vooraf, maar waren toch mensen die het niet gedaan hadden. Klein zwembadje, prima voor een plons.

Stop with the apps already
For a hotel of this level I do not like being forced to go to web sites and use apps to arrange things like my parking and my restaurant time. The fact that someone is there checking us in and telling me to do this and then acknowledging she sees the reservation on the screen just means it is not necessary nor efficient to do this. What if my phone battery is dead or I don't even have a smart phone (yes, those people still exist). Walking distance to the offices of Lego and Legoland it is a good place. Breakfast is good and they have a pool. There are good things about the place, but the check-in was annoying.

But it is important to reach to all people and many of our guest do not need our help because they prefer to do things on their own. Hotel en personeel is erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt is goed en heeft ruime keuze voor ieder. De prijs voor een dinner in het restaurant is hoog en de keuze is beperkt. Het dorp is dichtbij en daar zijn mogelijkheden genoeg. Hotel ligt heel centraal en legoland is slechts 5 min lopen. Al met al een aanrader

Really great hotel! It’s a short walk to both Lego House and Legoland. Breakfast buffet was included and there was a storage area for bags while you waited for your room to be ready. The staff was super nice and it was an overall great place. I would highly recommend!

We came to Billund to visit Legoland, and The Lodge is a perfect location. It’s only 5 minute walk to Legoland from the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. It has a pool and a game room. Breakfast was fantastic as well.

We stayed for one night at the lodge Billund, arriving late and leaving early for a trip to legoland. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfy beds with good quality bed linen and fluffy pillows. Very quiet even though our bedroom was next to the stairwell. I can't comment on facilities as our stay was so brief but I got a good impression overall, Staff were welcoming and the hotel is very well kept. It's only a 500 metre walk to legoland itself. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. My only comment would be allergen info displayed with food items would be helpful. My son has a milk allergy, but staff were very helpful in obtaining this information for me on my asking.

Quiet considering its proximity to the airport and a very relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the check-in staff. No food served in the evening, but delivery options available and a restaurant opposite, as well as those in Billund centre. Excellent value for the Legoland area.

Convenient location, a 10-15 min walk to Lego House (cool sculpture park and scenic route) and Legoland. The rooms were clean and decent. The only real issue we had was that our room was just at the top of the stairs so we could hear the loud party at the bar since it's all open concept with the bar right next to reception in the lobby (and both were staffed by the same one person, btw so service can be a bit slow). The bar is open until 2am, but in our case it did quiet by about 10:30pm. And being at the top of the stairs also meant hearing people stomping up and down them. So bring earplugs. The ceiling was also at a slant in the rooms, a bit awkward for tall folks. We found the room quite dry and warm so opened the slanted window, no screen though. The breakfast buffet was a good spread of eggs and meats and cereals and breads and fruits and veg and chocolates.

We had a problem with our lights in the room and Diego was wonderful and helpful. He was very busy but took time to come to our room and make sure everything was working properly. He was cheerful and gracious even though it was a very busy time for him. Thank you, Diego!!

The hotel is in a great location and is close and walkable to the Lego House and Legoland. BUT not close to any place to have dinner. They had a restaurant on site but when we got there, they didn't provide any dinner or lunch options. ONLY breakfast (which was delicious). we didn't have a car so it was pretty far to go somewhere to eat so we had a few snacks.

Absolutely perfect location for visiting legoland and the Lego house, the rooms staff and breakfast were all great too. The only negative thing is that the bathroom underfloor heating seemed to be permanently on which made the room in general very warm and we needed to keep the window open all the time just to keep it cool, this may have just been our room, and to be fair, we didn’t mention it to the staff as we were only there for 2 nights & weren’t too bothered by it. Overall it was absolutely fantastic and wouldn’t hesitate to come back
