'The Menger is a historic hotel that’s close to much of what’s going on in San Antonio. We stayed on the historic side of the hotel, so the room was charming, but also comfortable. I would have liked more towels, but it was super late when we got back so we didn’t want to disturb anyone to get them. I would have loved to be able to open our windows and enjoy the balcony. Other than that it was good!'

'This hotel is stunning. My stay here was accidental as I had made a mistake booking a short distance away and failed to book my first night at The Holiday Inn. What was disappointing (having to leave and find another hotel) ended up being a delightful discovery. This hotel is elegant, charming, and historic. I thought I had stumbled into a strange Great Gatsby-style dream. Pricing was reasonable and my room was fantastic. I would recommend. '

'The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. The room I stayed in was okay. The bathroom was small and the furniture was peeling. How you watch TV in the room was a little new which was appealing. 'The Inn is beautiful. We stayed in room 207 that had a lot of windows and was quite large. The bar was nice and the lobster pasta was good. The bar gets busy at night as it is one of the stops on the gohst tours. We met the owner and had a nice time visiting locals. Loved Savannah and would definitely recommend the Inn as long as you can do stairs.'
