'The room was superb. The pool is excellent. There is one restaurant for breakfast with a buffet, and one restaurant for dinner. It did not have everything on the menu, and I found it pricey, although the food was good. Service was very slow, although I didn't mind - I wasn't in a hurry. No beach!'

'Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. My WiFi worked perfectly, as did the AC and fridge. Did not try the tv. Shower and towels may need an upgrade in some years. '

'Amazing coastal town and only a short drive from the major destinations in the Northern part of the island. Christine is a kind and attentive host that was very flexible and accommodating with check in times. Lee’s restaurant and bar, Love @ First Bite is incredible and he is a great guy. 'Great (and brand new) location, comfy room, great sea views, really nice food and an amazing host who knows a lot about the island. A 4wd is recommended to drive up the short but steep driveway. When ever we come back to Dominica, we will definately come back here.'

'I stayed at Kootney Resorts for about 10 days for work and it was fantastic! Trish and Kyle were lovely hosts and tremendously helpful. Kyle in particular helped me repair some of my equipment, gave me all sorts of useful info on where to find things, and hooked me up withe the best cuisine in the area (he's a chef so he knows which places to eat).
