'We spent a long weekend in this lovely beach house with its modern decor and many facilities. It was well placed in the holiday village near to the pub and shop and path to the beach. The path itself was steep in parts but manageable. There is a lovely walk along the beach to Filey. A wondered stay.'

'The flat is well appointed, clean, and very quiet. It is steps away from the seaside pavilion as well as the dockside attractions. Even better was the prompt and friendly communications with the owner who instilled a sense of security and welcome.'

'Tucked away cottage is klein maar fijn. Voor gezin met 2 volwassenen en 2 tieners precies goed. Met name de locatie en sfeer zijn uitstekend. Heerlijke plek voor een wandelvakantie. In de avond zit je weer lekker bij de houtkachel! Maar ook voor uitjes naar de rest van de Dales of een dagje York prima plek. Miste alleen een gordijn voor het raam van de keukendeur waardoor je niet altijd privé zat te eten, maar verder helemaal prima.'

'If you like old buildings, well maintained and fitted with a smart hotel stylish bathroom, excellent view over the dale, this is the one. It is in the hamlet of Newbiggin on a quiet road amongst other attractive cottages. Loads of space for 2, 4 would be fine but I think 6 adults would rather cosy in the lounge and with just one loo & bathroom, albeit a very smart one.'

'This was a fabulous property to stay in the delightful village of Burnsall which is located in beautiful Wharfedale. The barn conversion had ample space and it has all been decorated to a high standard. It was perfect for 4 ladies on holiday together but would comfortably accommodate the 8 people it is designed for. We were minutes from the local pub and the scenic River Wharfe with lots of walking opportunities from the doorstep. Pam also accommodated a last minute request from us which we were...

'My elderly father and I had a wonderful few days here. Everything was so easy being in the village, we never cooked as there are lots of options for eating out or takeaway. Local dog walks were super and the enclosed courtyard meant we were never worried about the dog. Hosts were easy to contact and replied quickly to questions. Would happily recommend this lovely cottage and delightful village.'

'Artist cottage was a comfortable well furnished and clean property. It was within walking distance of Harrogate and handy for visiting surrounding area. There is a railway line to rear but it wasn't intrusive. Our only concern was the extremely steep wooden stair to bedrooms and with the bathroom being on the ground floor, this was not ideal. So, I would say not for the older guest or anyone with walking difficulties. '
