' I would say to anyone considering staying in this property think again, and move to another lodge unless you like to be harassed, kidnapped for 12 hours ( by locking the gate and not letting us go to Serenity four seasons till midnight when it was too late), Keeping me and my friend outside without a/c, food or water in the heat of Tanzania. 'The staff went over and above to make this a unique experience. Our butler Ali was superb, Gideon who cleaned our room is out of this world. Folds your shirts and makes the bed twice a day. The young chef made meals that were consistently tasty. Rashid the Camp manager was a charm and excellent host. Highly recommend this place. '

'Just an outstanding experience. The people were incredible, great service. My family of 4 loved the family tent. The grounds had Lions (3) hanging out right at entrance and wildlife overall was amazing around Ndutu, right there by camp. Highest recommendation. '

'The location and setting is magnificent, but what made Pioneer so special is the wonderful service by all the staff working under the perfect oversight of Manager Simon. Our tent butler, Juma, was a special delight. The nightly dining under the stars was so special and the meals were excellent. We recommend it to anyone wanting a tented experience with great comfort and pampering.'

'Family 'room' was excellent. However, for a December visit a bathroom heater was sorely needed and towel bars for drying towels. Every resort should have a safety bar in shower for young or old!'
