'Dahab was by far our favorite part of Egypt, and this was in large part due to how lovely our stay here was. The property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful, the seafront views are gorgeous, the staff is helpful and the included breakfast spread was the best we had of anywhere we stayed. Genuinely would love to have stayed longer and highly recommend.'

'At First you have to know there Are 2 Pyramid Lofts.You have to look that you are in the new one.If you booked the older one you can chance to the new one for a little bit more money.Bit it’s so worth it. 'I booked online but nobody was expecting me. I had to shout and nock the door heavily until someone finally came to open. The guy did not expect me obviously - he showed me the room and told me a two times higher price than the one mentioned in the booking. The room was clean, but no bed sheet for the blanket. bathroom had no toiletpaper or soap and the toilet was leaking. 'This wonderful hotel is located literally inside the Shali fortress in the center of siwa. The rooms are restored parts of the fortress built in the old style but clean and with furniture made of palm trees. It is super cozy and I would always recommend it. You pay more than most places in Siwa and it is not a budget stay but you get value for money. 'After booking and paying, I arrived at the property to find the gate locked. I called and Whatsapped the number written on the gate and was completely ignored. I ultimately gave up and slept on a friend’s floor. To date I have received no acknowledgement from the owner. I find this rude and highly discourteous, especially for a host in the hospitality space in a place like Dahab. Doesn’t surprise me that she has a reputation for mishandling guest relations in town.'
