'We stayed here for Carnival week and arrived Thursday and did not receive any house keeping until we checked out a week later. Room was cheap for Carnival but understandably so. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Felt safe in location but it isn't a walkable area and need to get transportation to anywhere in Port of Spain. No phone in room. No safe, which is essential. Bathroom very dated with bathtub painted with latex white paint so was peeling off during showers....

'My wife & i spent one night during the carnival period. The place was clean, located near all the carnival activities and did not cost as much as the other nearby legacy hotels. However, it could do with a little upgrading & modernizing as it had a 1980's feel. The staff is helpful but a bit more training in terms of greeting customers, warm smiles and making you feel welcomed would help. We felt like it was an emotion-less business arrangement. 'This was absolutely THE WORST accommodation I have ever booked via Expedia. Immediately upon arrival it became very clear that the information included on the booking page and the actual lodging arrangements were STRIKINGLY different. 'This accommodation provides the basics in the studio room. About 4×3 (12) square meters bedroom with small kitchen, gas stove, refrigerator, sink, and microwave. The attached bathroom is clean. Wifi in the room is stabilt. I used the accommodation as base for road trips which worked fine. Diego Martin and Port of Spain have a high crime rate according to locals; be aware of this.'

'This was my first stay at this establishment, and i must say it was a very lovely and enjoyable one. The staff was very friendly from the moment i walked in the door.
