Ok budget hotel, maar wel een beetje vergaane glorie. Lakens met een gat, lekkende kraan,. Hou er rekening mee dat het hotel aan de ramblas staat waar de metro's rijden waardoor het hotel af en toe een soort van schut. Personeel prima, ontbijt niet veel soeps.

Fijn en basic hotel. Precies wat we nodig hadden. We zijn met het gezin, 2 kinderen 10 en 14, daar geweest. Verwacht niet te veel luxe, maar een heel fijn hotel op een heerlijke locatie.

Een mooi hotel met een rijk verleden, na Billy the kid kan ik mij ook aansluiten in dit rijtje, prettig hotel zeer centraal en uitmuntende service, prima kamer kamer zonder poespas, schoon en netjes!

De locatie maakt alles goed!!!
Het hotel is gelegen aan La Rambla op ca. 50m van het metrostation Licieu. Met de metro kan je overal heen, maar door de centrale ligging is een hoop ook per voet te doen. Ook het taxitarief is in vergelijking met Nederland een schijntje. Naar het strand loop je in ca. 20 minuten(Spaans tempo). Het hotel zelf is oudbollig en het ontbijt is matig, maar zodra je de deur uitstapt is er genoeg te kiezen voor zeer betaalbare prijzen. Het inchecken gaat vlot en het personeel is vriendelijk. De bedden zijn kleiner dan we gewend zijn, maar na een lange dag slaap je overal, lijkt me. De ligging is perfect en dat maakt alles goed. Volgende keer weer.

Prim hotel op een goede loctie
Fijn hotel en heel aardig personeel! Locatie is ook perfect. Bij een volgend bezoek aan Barcelona zou ik hier weer verblijven. De wifi was gratis en deed het uitstekend. De bedden lagen goed en de kamer was brandschoon. Enige minpuntje was het ontbijt. De zaal was niet schoon, en er lagen overal schoonmaakdoekjes naast de etenswaren die ook nog eens ongekoeld waren.

It was a great place to walk all around the rambla. The walls a pretty thin so you can hear conversations around you but it was not a deal breaker. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Made us feel welcome. The room waa clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The hallways were updated and very clean and modern. The breakfast was simple but delicious. More than enough to get you going. I would recommend the hotel.

Came to Barcelona to catch a cruise ship. This hotel is perfectly located, walking distance to an enormous amount of restaurants and shops. It shows its age but it was comfortable and met all of our needs. We go to Europe to experience the culture not to stay in fancy hotels. Thank you for a great stay!

The staff at Cuatro Naciones are extremely friendly and helpful. There is someone in the lobby 24 hours a day and they are ready to answer all sorts of questions. They have great suggestions for restaurants and the best way to get where you want to go.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the person that handled our luggage, we were a party of 6 (three couples) and he was complaining that we all came at the same time, he was lazy.

The building is old at the same all areas, but all the staff and service are excellent, they are friendly and suggest the best places to eat and go shopping. Our stay was wonderful and I recommend for everyone and families. This Hotel is perfect place.

Cuatro Naciones is a little run down but if you are looking for a great price, centrally located in Barcelona (right on La Rambla), easy access to the metro, with breakfast (included), and great water pressure (!!) you truly can’t do better. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for two nights after a cruise. Friendly staff, clean building and room. Breakfast provided had everything we could ask for. We loved the history of the hotel and the past celebrity visitors. Would definetly come back

Good, basic stay in a convenient area. We felt safe and comfortable for our entire stay. Some parts of the hotel and hotel room itself seemed like they had not been cleaned regularly but it felt like a minor issue. We enjoyed our stay overall and the staff was friendly and welcoming, thank you.
