'I cannot recommend Han's houseboat enough. We spent a delightful week and it was a real WOW experience. After long days exploring Amsterdam, the cool breeze off the water and gentle rocking of the boat was remarkably relaxing. Many of the major tourist sites are within walking distance. Centraal Station is only a ten-minute walk, and from there you can go anywhere. Even with four of us, the houseboat was spacious and had everything we needed. 'Cozy and comfy houseboat with everything you need. The owner was very accommodating and maintained communication to you ensure we enjoyed our stay. We arrived on a Thursday and our first night was relaxing. However, party goers from Friday night lead to a 2am awakening to yelling and screaming on Saturday morning. 'I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!'

'Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. '

'Het is bijzonder om in zo’n boot te slapen, maar bij warm weer niet te doen. Je kan helaas de ramen niet open maken om te ventileren, omdat de muggen naar binnen komen. Het zou fijn zijn als er een manier is om een hor te plaatsen, bijvoorbeeld bij de opening op het dak of zo mogelijk bij een raam?'

'The houseboat meets or exceeds expectations from photos and descriptions. It is very well appointed with great amenities and in a great location. Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself.'

'Wir hatten uns so sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt gefreut, mussten jedoch bei der Ankunft feststellen, dass das komplette Hausboot mit Spinnen übersäht war! Schrecklich! Der Bewohner nebenan warnte uns sogar, dass man aufpassen muss, dass einem keine Spinne über den Körper läuft. Selbst im Haus waren Spinnen. Wir konnten hier nicht bleiben, haben uns ein Hotel gebucht und sind direkt wieder abgereist.'

'The stay was great and breakfast delivered every morning around 0830. We had breakfast in the Wheel house on the top deck. The next floor down was a sitting area with a small refrigerator but no microwave; the same floor gave you access to the toilet and shower. Bottom floor provided a bed, very-very small sink, and a place to hang a few things up. If you’re under 5’8” and barefoot you should not hit your head on the ceiling. 'Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und alles war ganz toll vorbereitet. Das Schiff liegt etwas 15 Minuten mit der Bahn vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Man kann auch einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang bis zur Innenstadt machen - kein Problem! Die Gastgeberin hat uns noch richtig gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Amsterdam gegeben. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!'

'De kamer was zeer ruim en over het algemeen vrij proper. Er waren ook verschillende zaken voorzien in de keuken (bv. pannen, borden, bestek, spons en afwasmiddel). De personeelsleden aan de balie waren steeds vriendelijk. Op wandelafstand bevindt er zich een tramhalte waar regelmatig trams naar Amsterdam passeren. Fijne locatie om te vertoeven na een werkdag.'
