'Very peaceful location, close to quiet beach. Cottage well equipped: airconditioning, large fridge/freezer, large cooker, large BBQ, flatscreen tv, audio-system, satnav for car, local mobile phone etc. etc. Gabriella and Douglas were very welcoming and helpful hosts and can tell a lot about Antigua.'

'Driftwood Cottage provided the perfect Caribbean escape. Set behind a lovely pool in Sarah's magical garden, the rustic cottage is truly a departure from the usual day-to-day. Sleeping under netting in the beautiful antique bed and listening to the birds and frogs gave us a true taste of island life. Sarah shared stories from her many years on Antigua and provided many recommendations for our stay. We loved setting out each day to explore the island then returning to our little piece of paradise...

'One think is good to pay attention to prior arrival. Is access road is difficult you need 4x4 or brave driver. Air con just in one main bedroom which wasn't issue for me but if i wanted to use both bedrooms would be problematic. I was happy there by myself nice remote location.'

'We stayed for 15 days. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath unit had a great distant view of the water from a balcony where we enjoyed cofffee in the morning and cocktail at night. Our only problem was trying to find it in the dark on our arrival as there didn't seem to be any actual address to give to Siri, but our property manager met with us and guided us in.'

'The property is very nicely maintained and the hosts made us feel welcome. The kitchen is well stocked with everything for cooking. Although they share the property, we felt private and safe. 'Although initially not impressed as the location was rather smaller than viewed on the web we then realised that although the property was dated it was clean and comfortable. The ambience however was great and it is really unique in the sense that nothing else can be founds like it on the Island.
