Quirky and cost with excellent staff. Breakfast is great, good wifi, tiny shower room that took some negotiating. Staff were very accommodating, my room was ready really early. There are stairs to many rooms so bring might luggage!

My husband, son, and I stayed here for four nights since our daughter was getting married in Amsterdam. What we loved about the hotel: very friendly staff, quick walk to the Nine Streets area, delicious breakfast each morning (I will miss the coffee machine), helpful front desk staff - particularly with arranging a taxi so we could get to the train station. We 3 stayed in a room and had enough space to walk around the room and keep suitcases on the floor. If my friends were asking for hotel recommendations, I would HIGHLY recommend the Catalonia Vondel.
