'We had a great longer weekend near Amsterdam. The owner were very friendly and helpful for the start of our staying. The houseboat is perfectly equipped for a couple and very comfortable. With the two bicycles, part of the houseboat, it was very easy to reach city centre'

'Albert is the best host. He greeted us when we arrived with fresh tulips and showed us how everything worked. He helped us navigate the two biggest celebrations in Amsterdam. 'Ein schönes und gepflegtes Hausboot mit schöner Lage. Alles im allen war es ein schöne Erfahrung auf dem Hausboot, leider muss ich eine negative Sache anmerken. Leider hat bei uns der Mülleimer sehr starke nach Aschenbecher gestunken, dieser Geruch hat sich leider Tage gehalten. Zumindest immer dann wenn man die Schublade zur Mülltonne öffnete. 'We enjoyed the location tremendously; and, staying on the boat added a charming ambiance to our Amsterdam experience. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. So, if you don't mind dealing with all the oddities, go...
