Top Locatie! Mooi groot hotel met nette kamers. Zeer schoon. Groot zwembad. Zijn hier al vaker geweest. Maar voor een 5* hotel beginnen ze toch wat steekjes te laten vallen. Check-in was deze keer rommelig. Slechte informatievoorziening. Kwaliteit televisie (beeld) slecht. Wake up call door technisch probleem niet gekregen, waardoor we ons bijna versliepen. Maar we gaan er zeker weer terugkomen.

First and foremost I have never experienced an hotel where the staff is this unhelpful. Literally nothing was possible. From changing some small things in a breakfast, use of a towel at Puro till changing of the room. Manager would call me back, but never happened. Breakfast is crazy crowded and noisy, and that after standing in line for a long time. Positive side is that the beds are good and airco is working fine. Puro is ok. Valet parking guys are super friendly! Def not going back.

Nice hotel with plenty to do. The room however was old and dirty. The electricity plug was hanging loose from the wall. The bathroom had a terrible smell. They only filled up de minibar once I was in the room, so it looked like it was not used long time and judging on the state of the room I can understand that. Breakfast was very good.

nice hotel and neigbourhood. Seats at the beach not included. Attention with the minibar . When we arrived they said minibar included except alcohol. Forgot to say that food was also not included.

Good hotel near the sea with a marvelous beach.
Tivoli is a good 5-star hotel, situated in the harbor where all the restaurants en shops are situated. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. The balcony has a wonderful view at the harbor or the beach. The beach is beautiful although you have to consider that you will have to pay for the beds and umbrella. The restaurant at the beach (Puro Beach) is a fabulous hogh-classed restaurant.

Mooier als dat het lijkt.
Hotel ligt prachtig vlakbij het strand met een mooi zwembad en goede stoelen. Ontbijtbuffet is prima, maar doet rommelig aan en wordt slecht bijgevuld. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maar bij de receptie is men zeer afstandelijk. Het hotel doet kil en afstandelijk aan. Kamers zijn oubollig en de douche is in het bad. Als je dit afmeet naar vijf sterren vindt ik dit niet kloppen.

Hotelpersoneel die alles doet om het te regelen
Ik was 10 dagen bij Tivoli Marina met mijn 3 jarige zoon, Oscar. Oscar was plotseling opgenomen in het ziekenhuis ivm astma aanvallen en allergien. Het hotel stuurde zijn lievelingen croissants en ook kussens voor mij naar het ziekenhuis. Bij terugkomst werden alle personeel geïnformeerd dat Oscar bepaalde allergieën had. Iedereen was erg attent; Oscar kreeg zijn handdoeken in de vorm van knuffelberen, en huisgemaakte koekjes en sapjes om snel beter te worden. Onze kamer werd ook geïnspecteerd en alle dekbedden en kussen vervangen met de antiallergische. Ook had ik mijn ipad tijdens alle gedoe vergeten in een taxi; het hotelpersoneel belde alle taxibedrijven en wist mijn ipad weer terug te krijgen. Top! We zullen ze nooit vergeten.

Alles was oke' en natuurlijk ook dat super ontbijt. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Restaurant Peppers blijft slecht en ook wat de prijs betreft zijn zij veel te duur. Veel Engelse gasten gedragen zich niet zoals het hoort ( erg luidruchtig in de ontbijtzaal, aan het zwembad en avonds laat en/of s'nachts als zij met veel drank op naar de kamer gaan en vooral de dames blijven maar kwekken terwijl zij er geen idee van hebben dat de gasten o.a. voor hun rust komen )

Bij aankomst in het hotel was er geluidsoverlast van bouwwerkzaamheden. Er is ons beloofd dat alleen maandag zou worden gewerkt. Helaas werden we de volgende ochtend,dinsdagochtend dus, om acht uur weer gewekt door drilboren. Bij de receptie werd sorry gezegd en verteld dat het tot 17.30 zou duren. We zijn maar het hotel uitgevlucht om 17.45 weer terug te komen. Helaas duurde het tot 19.14 tot het eindelijk ophield. De receptie zei sorry en dat ze pas 6 januari weer verder zouden gaan . Vervolgens werden wij 2 Januari om 7.15 weer gewekt door drilboren. De receptie zei weer sorry om vervolgens 2 euro te vragen voor het gebruik van de mini-bar. Na een gesprek met de manager,die niet verder dan sorry kwam,hoefden we de twee euro niet te betalen. Wat een gebaar.... Al met al hadden we dit 5 sterren hotel nooit geboekt als we dit hadden geweten. gr Kees Posthumus

Als de 1e, 2e en 7e etage opgeknapt( gerenoveerd )worden en ook de buitenkant van het hotel een verfje krijgt, alsook het zwembad en eromheen de tegels gerepareerd worden en nieuwe parasols en kussentje op de stoelen van restaurant Menta dan is dit hotel weer top.

Uitstekende locatie. Het personeel is uitmuntend! Kamer viel mij tegen, er hing een geur van een natte hond en de kamer is nodig toe aan renovatie. Douchen in bad met een douchegordijn dat tegen je lijf aan plakt vind ik niet 5 sterren waard. Bedden en beddengoed helemaal goed.

The hotel is perfectly located between the marina and the beach. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious with good views. The pool area is great, with plenty of space and good availability of sunbeds. Breakfasts were good, with outdoor or indoor seating, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Lovely stay with great views
Our stay was for my birthday and the Tivoli left a lovely bottle of fizz and a cake in the room. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the service was amazing. My only complaint was that you were only allowed 2 nespresso pods per day in the room and you had to pay if you wanted more, so one cup of coffee per person per day in the room which we thought was a bit tight for a 5 star hotel.

We have been regular visitors to the Tivoli since 2005 , the recent upgrades both inside and outside of the Hotel have improved the visitor experience .Enjoyed our Junior Suite with a sea view and the excellent New year's eve event in the Conference centre featuring a very good performance by renowned Portuguese singer Pedro Abruhosa.As always at the Tivoli it is the many superb staff who always go to extra mile for you which makes our visits so pleasant . Right from star porters Jorges and Andriv to the Argo bartenders to Ricardo and Quinto at the Glee cafe and Jose at the New year celebrations they all represent the Hotel so well .Muito obrigardo to all .Difficult to find anything that was not five star during our week visit over the festive season .A Comfortable bed , waking up to the sound of the sea , strolling on the beach for thirty minutes before a high quality breakfast is not a bad start to the day .

If you are expecting true 5 star accommodation, you won’t be disappointed. Staff are very professional. Breakfast excellent. Terrific view of Marina or Sea. I prefer Marina. Very safe and convenient for all restaurants, bars and shops. A few points to be aware of - No bidet. No magnifying mirror in bathroom . No option to have a room with a bath. Worst point is the very , very bright light shining down on the balcony until 11-30pm each evening. Would I go back - Yes!

A 5 star hotel should deliver consistently across all key areas. This was not the case with this hotel. Reception .. some staff were extremely friendly others not . Breakfast the same issue with staff. Some days bananas were available other days I had to ask ? Housekeeping some days good other days the coffee cup was not cleaned. The SPA. My therapist, Vanessa was amazing but my daughter had to return to have her treatment redone. The restaurant -so incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival the manager asked us to wait while he got waiting staff to attend to us? On a positive the bar staff exceeded all expectations consistently- well done.
