'The foto's are accurate, but the house still is bigger in reality. Lake placid is a very nice and pittoresque place. Host is great and eveything was taken care of. We only stayed for two days, but we had nothing more to wish for. Kids liked the playstation and we liked all the references to the olympics.'

'We stay in Lake George every year for Labor Day. Although we love it, I wanted something more peaceful. This place was amazing. Very clean, quiet and lits to do right there on the property. We ate at George Henry's, the food was fantastic. Its only about a 20 min drive to Lake George, so we got the best of both worlds 😊 Would love to come back again next year!'

'The location is good. The cottage is 1 of 3 in the same house yet the individual units still lend a private feel about them almost like you have the whole house to yourself. Parking off street a plus. Clean, absolutely. The little attention to details were very much appreciated like start up toiletries and extra items in case you forgot a toothbrush. Water and a few snacks, coffee, laundry care items. The front porch rocking chairs welcomed us back each evening after long days boating and...

'We loved the days we stayed there, beautiful environment, very nice view. Be careful with the mosquitos, they came out in the evening.'

'We had plenty of room to relax with our family of six after a busy Christmas season. We loved being so close to town and luckily, Lake Placid offered lots of rainy day activities for when we were tired of reading, board games and playing guitar! Would love to come back.'

'Condo was great but they didn't allow dogs despite what the title says, not dog friendly. House was nice size for the two of us. Bedroom is upstairs with king sized bed that was very hard to get out of!! The bed frame sits on the floor so each morning was a struggle to get up and out of the bed. Bed was comfortable and slept well but hard for senior citizens to get out of.'

'A lovely get away'

'My partner and I stayed here to see the solar eclipse. The place was nice getaway for a mini vacation. We had everything we needed for cookware to make meals. Not too far was a place where we could cross country ski in some wooden area and not a bad drive to Mount Von Hoevenberg.'

'The rooms are similar to small apartments. they have a living room and kitchen along with a large bathroom and large room. absolutely fantastic and beautiful place. it is a 5 minute drive from all the restaurants and shops '

'Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)'

'Stayed for our friends bachelorette. It was a beautiful home. Master bedroom bed was very load and uncomfortable but other rooms were comfy. The view was amazing. Overall would definitely stay again.'
