'Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is brand new, modern architecture throughout, and well spaced out so it never felt crowded. Ahmed from reception made us feel at home, the room and sea view was lovely, and we enjoyed the food and the a la carte restaurants. Overall a great stay in Hurghada!'

'In all the years that I have been travelling to Egypt, I have never met such kind, caring and friendly staff at all levels. The food was good with plenty of variety, the accommodation although somewhat dated in places was excellent in those that have been updated. The crowning glory is the wonderful flat sandy beach with good cover from lifeguards and beach attendants. There was no shortage of sunbeds, so no need to be up at dawn to reserve.'

'Great location, beach and views, stunning reef nearby. Friendly staff. But: the hotel is getting seriously run-down, and seems to cater for families and groups. Not representative for a Sheraton, as it lacks the premium-feeling. Worst was the Spa, with rather annoying sales people, continuously going around the beach, and overselling their product. We booked 2 massages, the first was good, but for the 2nd, once they knew was our last, the staff was desinterested and gave a poor quality....

'The staff are pleasant and helpful (except one cart driver..maybe we need to give him a tip on our first day..?). Our room is very nice ,clean and the beds are very comfortable. 'this is the second SUNRISE resort we visited and again it was great. Rooms and service is great. Clean, the pools are watched carefully which is handy with small kids. Food is pretty good at the buffet restaurant. Service can somewhat be less or missing certain finesse, but they do their best and that is appreciated. If you are bothered by the sales men (excursions, spa etc) approaching you when at the pool, you can get a red flag at the towel center to let them know you want to be left alone....

'I like that the kids could swim and that this time their was some entertainment. What i didn't like breakfast is the same. Dinner is ok. I cameback after 6 weeks and almost all the staff was replaced. Its not all inc you need to pay for the children to play in the play hall and the amusement outside. And you will get harassed at the pool by buyers while you try to relax.'

'Very friendly staff doing their best to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. Special efforts to cater for glutenfree food, especially by chef Wafy, were much appreciated. Small point for improvement: the special requests we made during the booking with expedia were not met by the hotel at first, however this was solved adequately later by the very friendly staff at the reception.'
