'This was a wonderfully comfortable and charming hotel. Checking in was easy and the storage of our luggage till room ready was well managed. Paul, the concierge helped me find things in the property and directed us in town. Very nice staff but Paul was excellent in particular. Breakfast was good and the dining room decorated in Alice in wonderland watercolors, bright window light and comfortable seating. The food was varied and you could find something for your taste and dietary needs....

'Our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. From our arrival, being met in the car park, through our stay to the very last minute, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was spacious and well laid out. Lemon cake already in the room was delicious. Grounds are amazing especially if like me, you are interested in plants, their growth and wellbeing. The orchard and veg/herb gardens are a joy. We opted for the tasting menu which was wonderful. Strawberry dessert was to die...
