'We had a great experience staying at Pinball Pete’s place. Very clean, cozy, comfortable, with use of the kitchen and some food provided … and, of course, pinball! Our host also went above and beyond in helping us to resolve an unexpected issue. Hoping to stay there again in the future.'

'Property is old and not in the best condition. It was clean but dingy. The beds were soft but squeaky and dipped towards the middle. Hot water ran out during shower. Wifi was very spotty/slow. Front desk staff was friendly.'

'The gym was ok, there were no free weights and it could use a good cleaning. There were no towels available and I don't think a staff member has been in there for a long time. The staff member at the front desk was not very personable. I booked the room in part because the hotel has a pool but when I arrived they told me it wasn't open. I wish I had known that beforehand, that information should be advertised. '

'The staff were nice, but the rooms were not ready at check-in time so there was a significant wait, there were a number of people in the lobby waiting. Some said they had been waiting in excess of an hour for a ready room. And, while I didn't really need it, the stove did not work in my room and I heard other guests share that their kitchen appliances did not work either.'

'AC was leaking water. Reported to front desk and we were promised a different room because tech couldn’t fix it. Left for an appointment and when we returned, another staff at the front desk didn’t believe us when we asked for a different room. She went to the room and confirmed it was leaking but said there was no availability. She then contacted the staff from the previous shift and confirmed everything. Finally found another room. 'I really don’t know what people are complaining about. It’s an older building, but the room was updated and very clean (see photos). The bad was comfortable. The man at check-in was polite. Breakfast was minimal, but fine (as described, anyway). I would stay here again. '

'Staff were not always helpful and had difficulty communicating. The rooms were VERY disheveled and had physical damage (my room's secondary locks were physically damaged and did not fully engage). There were literally roaches in the bathroom. And on top of that, the staff tried to charge me AGAIN after I already paid through Hotels.com, quoting that they "could not find my reservation" even after showing them the confirmation pages on both Hotels.com and from their own organization. Frankly...

'Valet parking is difficult and expensive, we couldn’t get the trash taken out, and every 15 minutes or so all night something clanged… so while the hotel is pretty… no real sleep at all.'

'Incredibly friendly staff with a welcoming bar/lounge area that's perfect for a relaxing drink while finishing the last of your work on your laptop or getting ready for a night out. Great location close to the Convention Center if that's an aspect of your stay. Several good restaurants within walking distance.'

'The breakfast had little to choose from. Always want the cinnamon buns. There was one left at 8 am. Asked the worker if she had any and she said all out, maybe some will be here tomorrow. Should have tons of those. Every Holiday Inn goes thru the cinnamon buns. Lack of management is my guess. My husband did not have breakfast. When we got there I wanted a hot chocolate, had hot water, no chocolate packets. The bed was uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The streets around the hotel...
