'This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. 'Clean rooms and wonderful staff'

'Boutique hotel, full of charm. Wonderful roof-top restaurant. Staff at desk very helpful. However, if you have mobility issues be aware that there are no elevators. Ask for a room on the ground floor but know that you will have to climb a long flight of stairs for the included breakfast. But it is totally worth it! Would absolutely stay again'

'I struggled with this one. The staff were great, the bed, albeit a little soft, was quite comfortable. Linens were nice. The breakfast was quite good, The reason for 2 stars is only due to almost NO HOT water. We booked a 3 night stay in a deluxe room on the 3rd floor. #5. I was only able to have one shower with some hot water. My wife boiled water in the kettle and tried to clean up in the bathtub.
