The most distinctive feature of this hotel is its views of Samaná Bay. Although the hotel seems somewhat old, it is well-maintained and clean. They close the pool and limit access to the elevator to the beach at 7:00 p.m., which might be a bit early for some guests.

Our stay started on a positive note with a warm welcome from the front desk staff. Unfortunately, from that point on, our experience fell well below expectations. The buffet restaurant lacked variety, and the food quality and presentation were disappointing. Across all four restaurants, we couldn’t find ice cream at any time, which was surprising for a resort of this type. Beverage options were also limited, with products like Coke Zero generally unavailable. The restaurant service was one of the biggest disappointments. Several staff members seemed unmotivated and indifferent to guests. We often had to ask someone just to bring drinks to our table because no one appeared interested in serving us. While some employees greeted us with a smile, others looked like they were simply there because they had to be, which made the overall atmosphere feel unwelcoming. The resort also lacked activities around the pool area, and there were very few table games or entertainment options, making the days feel uneventful. Another frustrating aspect was the towel system. Since towels are tied to cards that must be returned at checkout to avoid being charged, we found ourselves carrying towels and cards around the property throughout our stay. It felt unnecessarily inconvenient for guests trying to relax. Overall, this resort did not meet our expectations in terms of food, service, amenities, or guest experience. Unfortunately, based on our experience, this is not a place we would recomme
