'My child participated in the itheatrics camp, and this location was perfect. He felt safe to walk to rehearsal every day and we could easily walk to shows every night. The location is as described in listing. Small kitchen and living space, but bedroom is large. I felt secure accessing and while inside the building. We saved lots of money having a kitchen available to make simple breakfast and lunch. Every night dinner was out and the food in the area is amazing! There are a ton of laundromats...

'Beds were comfy, rooms were tight. Bathroom is tiny, with toilet, sink, and shower within an arms length away. I get it, it’s NYC. Def a place for single travelers or 2 people, and not for a girls trip or 2 couple trip. Area is close to subways, restaurants, etc. In house washer/dryer a plus. But I wouldn’t stay there again.'

'Carl is a wonderful host. We communicated often, and he checked in to make sure everything was well. The space is amazing. It’s on 2 levels: the living room, dining area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on one level, and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the 2nd level. The ac is great, and there are many tvs. There’s a washer-dryer, dishwasher, and lots of closets. We were generations staying there and it was perfect for us.'

'Host would have 4-10 hours delay in responding. Property address listed is not where the same adress that the "other" host will text you directly, not through Vrbo. There were cockaroaches, the furniture is old and uncomfortable, towels had stains, not a well kept establishment. Pictures on Vrbo are enhanced, the place looks nothing like the pictures. Custodian did have the place clean for our early check-in. I would not recommend this rental.'

'The apartment itself had nice updated decor, a clean, efficient & spacious kitchen, nice bathroom and plenty of natural light w/ small outdoor private patio. Best part though was the location. Upper West Side and 1/2 block from Central Park, quiet treelined street, lowrise townhouses, and 1 block from subway. Check-in very easy. Owner/host communicates best using WhatsApp rather than VRBO messaging.'

'This was an unregistered listing in violation of New York Law. Both the property management team and VRBO are violating the law. Neighbors informed us they would be calling the police. In addition the apartment door was plastered with violation notices. The external door key also was not functioning. I have asked for a refund. Terrible experience.'
