It took us about 20 minutes to get in because we were given the wrong access code to get into the unit. The code was correct according to our host, but their cleaning crew did not set the code correctly after cleaning up the previous stay. I had to call Vrbo support in order to get in contact with the host, as their number was not provided, and they did not respond promptly in the Vrbo messaging system.The place looked like the pictures, but it was a lot older of a building than it seems, and there were many issues exemplifying that. The bathtub wall panel was pulling from the wall, the floors are extremely uneven and creaky, and the stairs leading to the apartment were a little rough. It was generally clean, but little spaces like behind curtains were extremely dusty and filled with cobwebs and lots of ladybugs. The floors were not cleaned well, as my socks were extremely dirty on the bottom just from walking around Host also asked us to sweep with a broom that was not there?The kitchen window was open when we arrived, but would not lock when we tried to close it, which was worrisome. Lastly, the oven door completely broke while we tried to make pizza. We opened the door, and one of the hinges that is supposed to bend when opening/closing would not bend into place and completely detached from the oven. The host responded quickly and apologized for the incident, but it really did feel like a cherry on top. Overall, it was a place to stay, but just not up to our standards.
