The Hartman Rock Garden is most definitely a unique roadside attraction. What started in 1932 by Ben Hartman as a concrete fishing pond, expanded into an entire mini world using thousands of stones, a myriad of plants, handmade figurines and one hell of an imagination. Such an amazing house. We’ve stayed in many rentals and this one, by far, was the cleanest and nicest. Rooms were huge. Beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The location was wonderful. Other people reside in the house but they were quiet. The only concern is the coffee maker (Kuerig) needed to be washed out.
