Rodanthe is the first town after the Bonner Bridge, located on the northern end of Hatteras Island. This quaint village is the ideal setting for a laid back, slower-paced vacation while still having conveniences and dining options nearby. Right across Hwy 12 you'll find a coffee shop and pizzeria, both within walking distance. There's also Rodanthe Watersports, where you can rent kayaks, paddleboards, and more for exploring the Pamlico Sound.
Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.

Not really a beach view. The house was not clean. There was urine and poop on the commode down stairs. The smell of Clorox was so bad when we walked in had to open doors so we could breath we were given the wrong Wi-Fi code so did not have Wi-Fi the first day. We actually found the correct Wi-Fi code in the house. Would never book this house again!
