'If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this is not for you. Its a basic hotel to sleep in and thats it. Only one restaurant to eat from and if you are looking for nearby activities or entertainment there's none. The hotel's attendant is located in the 2nd floor. Oddly, there's an employee sitting behind a counter in the lobby all day, basically getting paid to do nothing. If you ask him anything, he doesnt know. Overall it was ok but I wont be booking here again.'

'I loved the location of this hotel for entertainment & convenience to our cruise ship terminal. Lots of action @ the T-Mobile area, beautiful water fountain views from our stay on one night & the other night we had a view of the T-Mobile bandstand. We got an early check-in on our cruise return date which was SO appreciated. We enjoyed the beautiful pool.'

'This is a great location if you are wanting something easy and quick to the beach. It Is in an older area that seemed OK to walk in at night but not alone Restaurants around it had super weird hours so don’t expect too many lunch options but dinner was easier Puerto Rico isn’t known for its hot showers. 'We enjoyed our time at Mare and had a very good experience. The one issue is that what you see in the pictures is not necessarily what you will get and the rooms vary greatly. Some had a refrigerator, others didn't; some had shelves and spacious bathrooms; our room had only a clothes rack with 5 hangers and you could only fit one person in the bathroom at a time. 'Nice location. About a 10 min drive from the airport. Less than a 5 min walk to the beach. Lots of eateries and stores within walking distance. I never felt unsafe walking the neighborhood.
