'Had a reasonable good stay at the hotel, the staff was really kind and helpful and the food was great. The price however is way too high for the state that this hotel is in. The furniture is old and damaged, the TV is small and the smart functions don't work properly. And last but definitely not least was the noise, we could hear every guest coming past our room, as our room was close to the dining area/bar. It woke us up late at night and early in the morning.'

'The hotel is a bit older and along the water, so has the wear and tear you would expect; however, the front desk guy (Chris I believe) was amazing and helpful. Rooms were very clean and couldn't beat the location and view. '

'It was great to have a washing machine. Didn’t notice that the dryer was out the door and in its own room until I’d already dried everything by hanging it around the apartment. Oops!'

'This was the perfect place to stay in Skye!! We were located a short drive away from Portree and enjoyed the stunning views of the water and town from afar and beautiful living space. I was traveling with my parents and they especially enjoyed the board games and puzzles available for rainy days and the lovely kitchen. It was everything we needed for our trip and more!'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the Malt House. It was a it is described on VRBO. We were a group of 4 and found the upstairs living space and the downstairs bedrooms/bathroom to work great. The Malt House is 5 minutes walking from Portree center. Try Antlers and Sea Breezes for dinner but make reservations. We had outstanding dinners at both restaurants. The Tour Skye, Best of Skye Day Tour was everything you would need to see the sights of the Isle of Syke. It's an incredible island!!!'
