'Everything was top notch '

'Het hotel was onze boeking vergeten. Ondanks dat we 's morgens nog gebeld hadden. Uiteindelijk hebben ze een andere locatie voor ons geregeld en die was prima. Het prijsverschil hebben ze terugbetaald. Na in eerste instantie teleurgesteld te zijn, hebben ze het goed opgelost.'

'The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed...

'Aangenaam hotel, met niet al te grote, maar wel fijne kamers. De bij het hotel horende pub is gezellig en het restaurant is best redelijk en vooral druk bezocht (reserveren!).'

'Simply Outstanding. Don't go by the over- or under-photoshopped pics. The place is extremely comfortable, well-sized, with a plush bathroom, all imaginable amenities, the nicest kitchen we have seen, and amazing views. Please don't forget to gaze at the stars at night. We stayed in the Learach room. Since this is the located the "lowest" of all cabins, it gets the least amount of afternoon / evening sun and limited views of the water from outside, but we didn't mind. '

'We zijn 3 nachten verbleven bij het Duisdale house hotel. Dit was werkelijk geweldig. Het hotel heeft een geweldige keuken. Ambitie is 1 michelin ster te behalen, maar dat is wellicht iets te hoog gegrepen. Niettemin: geweldig eten, met alle zorg die erbij hoort. Dit is een hotel waarin je aan het eind van een grauwe, verkleumende, morsige dag terugkomt en dan de typisch Schotse sfeer treft: een lobby met banken om in weg te zinken, een open haard die volop brand en dan een dubbele whisky. 'It was a wonderful trip and the Croft House was an excellent location. The rental was comfortable, clean, cozy and well equipped. I highly recommend the Croft House for a stay on the Isle of Skye. '

'We had a magical stay at Rosie’s stunning property. We were greeted by Rosie and her adorable pups Tessa and Marley upon arrival. Rosie was an extremely hospitable host! The kitchen was stocked with fruit and eggs and pasta and butter and milk, the works! We loved knowing that before or after long days out exploring Isle of Skye, we had food there for us. The house is beautiful and clean and decorated with Rosie’s gorgeous artwork. We walked down to the beach first thing and experienced the most...

'It was great to have a washing machine. Didn’t notice that the dryer was out the door and in its own room until I’d already dried everything by hanging it around the apartment. Oops!'
