'There's a lot to like about the Unwind Hotel. The location is excellent as is the overall decor and atmosphere of the hotel. The service was prompt and very friendly. Even though we don't speak Japanese there were no problems. The restaurant was fantastic. In particular the breakfast that came with our room was like nothing I've experienced before. A variety of small dishes that were delicious. The free wine happy hour in the bar was a nice bonus. The room was a bit small, but that was expected...

'Staff were so helpful from the minute we checked in. We were early but they had the room ready for us and it was a huge wonderful room with spacious bathrooms and a quiet place. The decor and interior are rather dated and unremarkable, but it is kept very clean and neat. It's as if you've stepped into a time machine back to the 60's. 'My wife and i were here for snowboarding, and really enjoyed our stay. The location’s central, has a Seicomart just across the road, petrol station, and a coin laundry within a stone’s throw. And a Coop (supermarket) just down the road aswell. The bedroom configuration is pretty compressed/tight but that’s not too bad. Everything else is great. '

"Het is een erg leuk hotel met hele aardige medewerkers. Wij zijn erg goed (in het Engels) geholpen. De kamer was ruim en de bedden lagen heerlijk. De badkamer was van alle gemakken voorzien. In de omgeving was veel te zien en te doen, alles was op loopafstand (o.a het park, de TV toren en de klokkentoren). Mocht het slecht weer zijn, dan kun je via een ondergrondse gang van het station naar het hotel lopen. Het laatste minuutje gaat wel bovengronds. De ondergrondse gang is ook een genot, met allerlei winkels. Wij vinden dit hotel een aanrader, net als de stad. Wij komen hier zeker terug!"
