Ryokans in Norikura-plateau

'Super leuke ervaring. Yukata’s op de kamer. Privé onsen(warm bad) en een heerlijk traditioneel ontbijt. Personeel is heel aardig. '

'少し奥地にはあるが、その分静か。フロント周りの時間は時が止まったかのような、昭和の文豪がゆっくりしているような非常にリラックス出来る。最小人数で営業されているのかスタッフの人はあまり見かけないけど本当にゆっくりできました。 食事（夕食）は絶対につけるべきです。給仕さんがすごく良い方でした。'

'Okuhida Hot Spring Hirayukan is conveniently located, just a short and easy walk from the Hirayu Onsen bus terminal. A small shop beside the ryokan sells snacks and drinks, which is useful especially in the quieter evenings. Check in was smooth and the ryokan already had our Expedia reservations. As with most Japanese ryokan, copies of our passports were taken. We stayed in the Japanese Style Room, Sengakuso, Non Smoking (35 sqm). 'Okada is a pretty big ryokan in Hirayu onsen area. Perfect for visiting Kamikochi in the summer. Rooms are of good size with a nice balcony/sitting area. The biggest plus of the ryokan is the beatiful onsen with multiple baths. Drawbacks were that our room didn’t have AC, only a fan, while it was very hot. The futons were pretty hard.'

'We stayed at this ryokan for 3 nights and we loved it there! It is family driven and has such a lovely and local feeling. Our room was big, authentic and had a really nice onsen. We received the best breakfast every morning, it was the best we ever had. We also had dinner there 1 night, and it was such an experience. Everything tasted amazing and we loved that the ingredients was local and in season. We also got help for activities. '
