'When I arrived at the property, it was unstaffed. There was a list of eight telephone numbers to call. I called one and was directed to open several key safes before the right key was found. When I reached my room, I found that instead of being the “standard” room I’d booked, it was a cheaper “compact room” - much more cramped and much less pleasant. I felt that cleanliness and maintenance left something to be desired - there was cracked and flaking paint, the electrics felt to me pretty amateur...

'Celine was amazing. She gave us access after hours, checked on us in the morning and gave us tea and toast after breakfast hours, checked on our welfare, held our bags for us when we went into Oxford, and gave us waters in the heat wave. The sheets were not very clean and the bathroom garage was not emptied when we checked in, but the shower was good and there was a fan and tea provided in the room with decently comfortable beds. A great place!'

'Great place. On bus lines. Quiet room. Super clean and convenient. Access to kitchen and living room. Would have been nice to have proper shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms, otherwise all good.'

'De accomodatie wordt aangeprezen als 4 sterren. Dat halen ze niet. Inrichting is oud(erwets) en de badkamer kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Het ontbijt was daarentegen uitstekend en er was veel aandacht aan besteed. ( Ik zou het echter geen continental breakfast willen noemen ). Maar voor alleen overnachten en ontbijten prima te doen.'
