'We recently enjoyed our holiday stay at the Lindisfarne bed and breakfast in Stromness. This was our first visit to the Orkney Islands and we stayed there for two weeks. Kevin and Debbie were our host's at the B and B. They both looked after us superbly. The quality of the accommodation was excellent and the breakfast was generous and delicious. We will most certainly be returning and cannot find the word's to thank both Debbie and Kevin for their fantastic hospitality. '

'Our 2 night stay was fabulous. Room was a good size the beds were so comfy and the shower was brilliant. Great choice of breakfast options with the most amazing views from our table. Amanda and George were the perfect hosts friendly and helpful'

'This place is a dream! It has a large and beautiful library that guests are welcome to use. The breakfast is delicious and provides variety of your choice. The accommodations are not only beautiful, but also very spacious. There are 2 windows in the bedroom that we could open to let in a cool breeze. The bathroom is incredible. The history of the home is truly amazing as well. The host, John, was very helpful. I can't recommend this enough. We didn't want to leave. '

"We arrived late from the Shetland Ferry. Instructions to get in were clear. We had a private room but no towels, they were complimentary but had to be provided for by staff and upon arrival there was no staff… so we could not shower in the evening. All was clean and working well. Room was clean and effective - but could be made more friendly by just putting up some pictures or Orkney fotos.. that would really make a difference. Staff was very accomodating and nice, breakfast room was pleasant. We had an okay stay but all in all found it quite high priced for the basic facilities we got. "
