'Great location. Easy walk into the heart of Ali'i Dr. shops and restaurants. Nice room, had everything we needed. Elevator wasn't working, didn't bother us as we were on a lower floor, but those above us didn't have it so easy. We were told the "parts were on order". Hot tub by pool also wasn't working, were going to call in someone to "look at it". Pool was perfect. Would definitely return. Beautiful scenery. '

Gated community for security. Dislike: have to pay extra for A/C, but good window ventilation, so we didn't quite need it in August except one night. 'Kona Coast was a Great Resort and perfect location for access to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean and very spacious it was exactly what we needed. But, to be honest I was very skeptical because of the reviews about the roaches but Thank God we did not encounter any roaches in our place but I did wake up everyday fearful that I may see one so I wasn’t totally at ease during my stay.
