Villa's in Isle of Thanet

'The staff were very attentive to us and it was great to have communication if we needed help! Fantastic location just steps to everything one might want to explore in Margate! It’s our second stay there and we plan to return when we come back to Margate.'

'Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus.'

'We had a great room with balcony overlooking the sea which we took advantage of in the sun! The bathroom was clean and modern. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the head housekeeper who found us an extra chair for the bedroom! The breakfast was tasty with a good choice. The bar staff were good although could do with some practice with making cocktails! Great central location for walking to shops and restaurants.'

'Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING...

'Probably the nicest room we have stayed in despite spending 2 or 3 times more per night on other trips. Lovely spacious room in period property with exposed beams, brickwork and proper 4 poster bed. The quality of the renovation, and in particular the ornate marble/granite work in the bathroom, was exceptional. Add in a warm freindly welcome and it rates in the top handful of all time great stays.'
