'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening. 'Good facilities. Clean and new. Short walk to a beautiful view and beach. Access to beach meant climbing over some logs. The unit could use some tea towels for drying dishes etc as well as a small table beachside.Quiet, private. Good place to stay.'

'We had an excellent stay! All the rooms were clean and tidy and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Lots of extra bedding if we needed it, as well as little considerations like beach towels and robes (for the hot tub) and camping chairs. There was a fire ban during our stay, but the wood-heated hot tub had electrical backup heating so we were able to enjoy several hot soaks. The property overlooks a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, and it was so quiet and peaceful at...

'One of the most charming places I've ever stayed in. We were greeted with a bowl of eggs from the ducks/chickens at the end of the garden (which we promptly repaid with snacks) and the three small buildings were super clean and incredibly welcoming. There were a few minor bug/dirt related issues with the outside shower but nothing too bad at all. We look forward to coming to stay again!'
