'First time to Taiwan and found this hotel with some ratings good and bad. I found the service friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy although a bit worn looking but I was happy with that. Comfortable bed and great location :) Definitely returning. '

'L'hotel est très bien situé à 15 min à pied du palais présidentiel, et du quartier ximen. L'accès à l'hôtel peut surprendre dans un premier temps surtout en plein milieu de la nuit, l'accueil se situe au 4eme. Si vous êtes à l'hôtel entre 14:00 et 16:00 des repas sont servis gratuitement (nuggets, petits sandwichs...) '

'Very well designed hotel room with smart features for a traveller, like universal power plugs. The hotel staff is friendly and professional. The mattress is a bit on the short side though (180cm), so not ideal for taller people. The mattress is also very hard, so that's something to keep in mind. They also offer you to order breakfast from a famous breakfast place, which is deliver3d to the hotel between 07:30 and 08:30, so you don't have to wait in a queue for over an hour. Nice option, but...

'Pros: the room was clean, the white tiles and bright lighting made the bathroom feel more comfortable, spacious and clean. The room size is decent. We were able to put 2 large luggages in the room. The hotel is located near restaurant, supermarket, and walkable to plenty of retail shops. '

'We were supposed to stay 3 nights, but left after 1. Stains, hairs, dust, insects, used tissues. That was all in the room when we got in. The staff was very dismissive and shrugged it off, saying we should wear slippers in the room because the floor is dirty! The airco cannot be controlled, so it is also very cold in the room. We were covered in bed bug bites the next day. The staff offered another room, but it was as dirty as the previous, and the staff said they cannot guarantee that that...

'The host was really friendly and enthousiastic and helped us with finding a parking lot for the car, luggage and the check in. The hotel is really well located, it's at the end of the jiufen old street. The room is very spacious and the view of the room is amazing. Since Jiufen is always full of tourists, It's nice to enjoy the sunset and view from the hotelroom away from the crowd. The room was well equiped and the host made sure that everything was available for a nice stay, such as bug...

"The hotel entrance is a bit difficult to find because it’s situated on the 13th and 14th floor of a commercial building. Hotel staff is very helpful. There is even one male staff member that can speak Cantonese. Room is alright. Average size but clean. The location of the hotel is near the metro station, so convenient for those planning to use the metro a lot during their stay in Taipei. I can recommend this hotel for those planning to stay in Taipei but doesn’t want to stay in a hotel nearby Ximen."
