« My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. This place was great for the price. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the river. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and worked for our needs. The room appears outdated, however had floors that were not carpeted which we prefer. We did utilize the pool one day and it was clean and comfortable- not crowded. If we return to the area we will stay here again. »

« Room was great. Recent renovation firm bed and pillows. Problem is the road noise. Its really bad. Your room is 20 ft from a 4 lane highway. On the other side of the road is a very tall wall that reflects the road noise back towards the hotel. You will not sleep during the day at all or until after 10 at night. Get a room as far towards main st as you can. The tall wall ends about half way towards Main St. Would stay again but only in the right room »

« Excellent stay, beautiful property, and exciting wildlife (bears). Check in and check out was easy. Host was quick to respond to questions and very friendly. We traveled in classic cars and the incline was a bit much for them but we still managed without issues. I would definitely recommend and stay again. »

« We stayed at gatlinburg mountain inn for a week during a trip to the smokies - and the stay can be summarized in two words: millipede infestation. At first we stayed in room 108, we saw a millipede in the bathroom and thought nothing of it. Then we saw another one, then another. I woke up in the morning and found 3 in or around the bathroom. And one night, I killed at least 7 millipedes in less than 2 hours. At this point we talked to hotel staff (who were friendly), but they told us that...

« It’s a great historic hotel. Brings you back to the days when times were simpler. Bathroom was updated and beds comfortable. Room was clean as well as the common areas. Breakfast was typical hotel continental and decent. Great location since it’s right in the middle of the parkway strip. Request a balcony in front of the hotel for street view if occasional noise from the street doesn’t bother you. Will definitely book here again. »

I highly recommend you buy your drinks at the regular store then bring them in if you don't you will be paying 5 dollars per drink. The food at the hotel is really good especially the play by the pool. You will see bears outside the gate so do not keep food in car or drinks »
