'Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. '

'Accommodations are very clean, great location, staff are very friendly and helpful. This Accommodation would be great for short term guests but falls very short on long term guests. I was booked for 7 weeks but was expected to go that long without fresh sheets and towels unless I was willing to pay for them. When I wanted to send my linens to Rush Laundry for much less than what they wanted to charge me, I was told that I couldn't send their property out...on the original booking it stated that...

'Hotel & Beach Club Ojo de Agua is a perfect option if you are doing a round trip in Yucatan and don't want to spend your first night on arrival in Cancun. The hotel is not modern and the rooms might come across oldfashioned but it offers quite a decent value for money. What fully makes up for this is the location next to the beach and beach facilities provided. Also it is great they have a big pool so kids can switch from the beach to the pool in 20 seconds. 'It is a new construction, the room was amazing, really clean, with ocean view, the pool really nice. The only thing that it was a big minus is that the Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room, we notified the front desk clerk and went to our room to try to fix it but couldn't be fixed and in that area my phone didn't have good reception there, other than that it was great.
