'Helaas was de afvoer verstopt, waardoor het water in de douche niet goed weg liep. Toilet was ook niet schoon gemaakt. Kamers erg warm, temperatuur niet goed te regelen. Bij ontbijt waren geen lekkere broodjes. Koffiezetapparaat was er één buiten gebruik, waardoor er een lange wachtrij stond. Het hotel ziet er verder mooi en nieuw uit, maar heeft echt nog veel verbeterpunten!'

'Kamer was te basic voor deze prijs. Hebben zelfs de eerste kamer gewisseld omdat het raam niet eens open kon. Tweede kamer was iets ruimer maar geen ventilatie in de badkamer en echt te basic voor woorden. Daar bij moet je door een corridor waar de vuile vaat van de avond ervoor nog staat. Waar dronken mensen door de gangen dwalen die de feestruimte niet meer kunnen vinden na toiletbezoek. Waar het tapijt eruit ziet alsof het er al 100 jaar ligt met alle gevolgen van dien etc. Vriendelijks...

'Hotel ligt in een rustige straat, je kunt er niet komen met de auto voor de deur. Kamers zien er netjes schoon en modern uit. Winkels en centrum is op loop afstand. Ontbijt is goed en tamelijk uitgebreid, keuze zat voor iedereen. Zeer hippe en moderne uitstraling.'

'This hotel is amazing. We’ve been coming here as a family of 4 for over 7 years and every time it’s great. We’ve especially come for the pool and breakfast which are both excellent. I’d like to highlight the exemplary breakfast staff who do their upmost to make sure it’s special. Special hot chocolate? No problem. Special hot muffins? No problem. We use the family sized rooms and they’re great for a family of 4 with 2 big kids.'

'We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. 'The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans. Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception. Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!'

'Overall a bit disappointing. Upon arrival the car park entry and exit system was not working which caused issues. There were queues to check in. The room we had was always cold, with a broken unusable safe and a bed which had a large spring coming through the mattress. There was quite a bit of noise from weekend revellers outside which was loud even though we were on the fourth floor. The breakfast was okay but the cooked breakfast had no mushrooms. 'Staff were excellent. We were offered a free room upgrade, but it was really small. The room smelt as if drains were blocked, and the shower didn't drain quickly. It was extremely hot throughout the night. The gym facility was in excellent condition. Sadly we never experienced the spa. '
