'this is not a chateau but merely a las Vegas style facade of it. Rooms are ok but lacked a 2 person seating area, view was on the roof of the attrium. Food at restaurants, including breakfast, was outrageously high and what were called the refined dining venues lacked class. Tacky is the word.'

'Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The hotel is nice but dated and could definately benefit from a "refresh". Don't know if it was just because it was early in the season when I stayed ((mid May) but not much maintenance seemed to be happening (towels at the pool not restocked, pool bar not open for business, lots of cobwebs, etc...) The pool was nice on Saturday but by Sunday did not look like it had been cleaned at all. And the hot tub... ugh! I'm hoping it was just stained and not...

'The consistency of staff as far as responsiveness was lacking. When we arrived at 3:45 our room was not ready and they only had one emergency key to give us stating the key machine was broke and it would be tomorrow as well. I tried using honors app for digital key but it never worked. The next day no problems !! They gave of two keys. Also no dish soap and extra paper towel on day one but day two no problem'
