'Lovely room, quiet, clean. We were a bit worried when we saw the hotel was on such a busy street, but once we were in our room, we heard absolutely nothing from all the noise outside. Also, a special shout out to receptionist Cassie, she is an absolute gem. She made us feel extremely welcome and our daughter was totally smitten by her. All of the staff made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!'

'We visit every Christmas and the condition of the hotel gets better and better each visit. So good to see a property being invested in and maintained. The rooms, staff, food and bar are really excellent. Only very minor gripe - some smoked salmon at breakfast would be nice.'

'Hotel has a brilliant, central location and is only a short walk from the station. The hotel's service was excellent and all staff were lovely. Greeted at the door, taken to our room and shown the amenities and offered bookings both internally and externally. Room had a good range of premium tea and coffee, fresh milk and toiletries, too. Bed was big and comfy. Robes were provided too. Breakfast was delicious. We upgraded to a traditional full breakfast and the ingredients were great quality...
