'I was surprised on how as for a name like Rio the property wasn’t what I expected. I was on the 15th floor where they like to call it the penthouse, but the room was dirty. We had roaches bathroom toilet wasn’t working and it was filthy. The balcony door was broken. I was very, very surprised on how outdated and broken down the rooms were and there was an awful smell for the first three days we were there in our hotel room, and in the hallway it smelled like diapers. It was awful very outdated....

'The overall smell and look of the hotel is amazing. Amazing views of the cruise ships, the hotel is clean and smells great. However for my stay the pool was a nasty green color and for the last two days of my trip they closed off the pool so we didn’t have any access. The food options at the restaurant were mid level and very overpriced. The coffee shop never had any of the bakery items I chose no matter what time of the day you went. The hotel is nice don’t get me wrong, but the food was subpar...

'Money got stolen from my safe! Overal room was kinda outdated, the bathtub was plugged. There was litteraly 2 nice people from all the staff, the lady at front desk atleast gave me 100 dollar discount for the inconveniance. Overal the crimes in Bahamas are very high , i felt unsafe unfortunally. '

'Had a great few days stay here - the free breakfast was pretty good and had a lovely variety (waffles, cereal, eggs, protein, pastries, juices, coffee etc)
Also loved having free daily access to Atlantis during our stay :) would definitely come back!'
