We had to remove dead spiders that we thought were alive from a couple of a places bathroom not ideal a shower cubicle would have been more useful as water kept going on floor with handheld shower head. « On stepping in to the house , you immeadiatly get a feeling of....home. Its beautifully quirkly decorated, pet and family friendly, very clean and has everything and more you would need for a lovely stay in Matlock. Makes for an ideal centre location to explore th Peak District. Would definitly return and recommend to other people. »

« The location is fantastic for walking - especially straight of the front door into the Chatsworth House park. The cottage has everything you need for a full weeks stay. There was parking across the little bridge everyday (except the bank holiday weekend we arrived…) but we preferred to pay the 6.95 for 24hrs to park in the car park across the road. Perfect for exploring the Peak District. »

« Lovely home for large families, plenty of space both inside and out with a scenic view. The kitchen is stocked well with utensils, pans and plates with several dishwasher tablets (usually only come with 1!) we needed to use it each day. Easy to find and instructions were straight forward. Space for 5 cars on the driveway if you are good at manoeuvring. »
