'Rooms are somewhat small but very clean and very attractive. Hotel was somewhat difficult to find at first but is near markets, gardens and quality restaurants. The staff was always courteous and helpful - a night clerk named Mustafa helped us immensely with early morning transportation - we remain very grateful for his assistance.'

I didn't realize until my first morning when I woke up that the turn down service had not only closed the curtains but had closed the outside shutters. 'Cosy and characteristic hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Neat rooms with all the needed accessories. The breakfast is till 12 h which was great for late sleepers. The location is perfect. 3 min walk from the water buss stop, 5 min walk to San Marco piazza and 10 min to Rialto bridge. In front of the hotel you can get a gondola. I’d love to go there again. '

'Uitermate vriendelijke ontvangst in dit prima geheel vernieuwde hotel in een oud pand, op 3 minuten loopafstand van het San Marco plein. Kamers en voorzieningen zijn op uitstekend niveau. Het ontbijt was voldoende gevarieerd. Het enige minpuntje was de hygiene van de badkamer. In de (nieuwe) stortdouche kwamen schimmelrandjes en haren van vorige gasten voor. Dit kan makkelijk worden verholpen door betere schoonmaak. Jammer voor dit verder uitstekende hotel.'

'Mooi hotel in historisch gebouw in het centrum van Venetië. Rustig geleden tussen de drukke straten van Venetië waardoor je ik het hotel niks meekrijgt van de drukte buiten. Zeer goed onderhouden hotel met veel karakter. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.'

'The property is in an excellent location, just behind the piazza and easily accessible from the boat bus. It’s nestled in one of those charming Italian narrow alleyways, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and plenty of places to explore. 'This was our last stop on our trip. It was lovely! Elevator to our room was a major plus. The room had so much room for just us two. Breakfast was included and delivered both mornings and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had a sauna in our room, but did not have time to use it. Wonderful stay!!!'
