After running the Bill Beer Run 5.0 miler I walked to check out the choppy surf just north of the North Jetty at Nokomis Beach. I was surprised to see no surfers out there. Water temps were about the same as ambient air of 70 degrees.

« We really did have a great time at the house. A full kitchen to work with. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, and even a floaty. There is also a grill on the patio. Great addition for having dinners outside on the beach. You can watch the ocean as you eat. Even though there are many houses in the area, you get a nice sense of privacy. You are also far enough away from the public beach that there are many less people. »

« Overall it was an amazing stay!! Core memories were made and we are looking forward to making this a family tradition.There were a few minor things that I’m sure can be remedied for example: fire alarm hanging from ceiling, sliding door wouldn’t lock and a noise from the bathroom, perhaps draining water (I’m not sure) but these minor things did not ruin our trip. We loved staying there!! »

« The unit was exactly as described. It was clean, and well appointed. The outside balconies were a great place for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The host was very accommodating and informative. He gave us recommendations for local restaurants, all of which were spectacular. The beach is just a few steps from the unit, and the host provided a wagon with beach chairs and umbrella. We enjoyed the bicycles that were also provided during our stay. I can’t say enough good about this resort...
