'If you're a hostel traveler, this place is amazing!! We loved it... from the accomodations to the central gathering place, the food and friendly staff, the ambience and security measures, plus walkable to Vic Falls. As with most anywhere, could use some upgrades, especially in the few ensuite bathrooms (and maybe some pop-in screens for the windows to allow enjoyment of the cooler night air), but even the least-best about this place was acceptable... and the best-best more than made up for...

'Very central and easy access to brewery, distillery, craft markets, central town and even easy walk to the falls. It’s a large site with many rooms, breakfast can be full but always lots of food and good service. '

'Great room but expensive. There is no pool to the Safari Club. Next door Safari Hotel has a small pool with small deck. For a hotel at this (price) level, a pool should be a must. The complimentary happy hour, and high tea are a fun little extra. We stayed 3 nights but I believe 2 is enough to see the Victoria Falls and some wildlife.'

'This property accepted our reservation AND FULL PAYMENT for the stay but was SOLD OUT and they refused to REFUND our money!!!!! And there is no recourse through Expedia! Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've had problems with this platform but it will be the last. Never using Expedia again for any reservations.'

'We had a wonderful time staying at Shongwe Oasis. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and made sure all of our needs were attended to. Our room (honeymoon suite) had a comfortable king size bed with mosquito curtains around it, large bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers. The pool is a great place to get some sun, although I would recommend using it in the morning or lunch time as it does get leaves and seeds falling in it throughout the day (cleaned in the mornings).
