'A beautiful property in a stunning location. We opted for the cheapest room so I wasn't expecting much, but it was delightful, clean and very comfy. The property itself is home to a really fun bar, which often hosts local bands. It was a real treat to arrive to hear a live band! The breakfast room overlooks the hills - it's the most beautiful setting for dining I've ever come across. And the breakfast is delicious. Staff are friendly and available if required, but leave you alone to enjoy peace...

'Wonderful 19th century inn! We had a spacious corner room with pullout sofa. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful balcony. Comfortable, relaxing, quiet stay. As long as you are not expecting a modern, chain-brand property, and have a car, you will enjoy this place! Note, The Old Inn is almost 2 miles from the delicious breakfast spot and about a 16 minute drive to Great Barrington, which is the closest town. There is no lobby or front desk (or tv or coffee maker, etc in room) as one would...

'Overall our stay at the Inn was very good, the Inn is conveniently located just outside the town of Kent in the center of the Litchfield Hills Region of Northwestern Connecticut. Beautiful area, lots to see and do. Enjoyed an excellent complementary continental breakfast buffet each morning. There is a slightly irregular outside stairway to a couple of upper level rooms which might require a little extra caution '
