« 1st, we were sent old instructions on entry. It took awhile standing outside before we were able to get in. The dead cochroach (we named him Leonard) and trash in the bathroom garbage was par for condition of the unit. The bed wasn't even comfortable for two. « Communication by the hosts was very good and we appreciated the provision of travel instructions. This was particularly important as phone signal was patchy. The cottage is open plan and roomy. « No one at the gated property. No check in instructions. Arrived at 4:03 on 3/13/26 for a three-night stay. I’ve used VRBO for over twenty years and this is the first time I couldn’t access the property. Had to book overpriced Holiday Inn Express rooms because of the Wine and Chocolate Festival I was attending and a huge youth baseball tournament which kept the hotel loud all night each night. « Very nice private little cottage we really enjoyed our stay! To make this 6 stars.. it would of been nice if the grass on the deck/tenant area was cut it was alittle over grown, if there was paper towel provided (there was napkins), and a bigger sheet pan for the oven (there is a very small one thats almost a single serving size), and I had to ask for check in instructions but other then that we had a fabulous time and would definitely reccomend staying here to friends/family! »
