'We had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Entebbe! The location is truly special—right on the lake and only accessible by water taxi, which makes it feel like a peaceful escape from everything. 'If you like bird watching and going for a walk in a pristine nature, then it is probably the best place within a short distance from Entebbe airport. The easiest way to get to Buvi Lodge is by boat from Entebbe. Ask the hotel to send a boat to pick you up at the harbour, where the ferry goes to Nakiwogo. The resort is very isolated, but you do not have to worry about being ripped for money in the restaurant. I paid 10 US$ for a big pepper steak with fries and a pint of beer. The food is tasty...

'The property gives you high luxury in the middle of nature. But what makes the place exceptional is the services given by staff. They treat you like VIP from arrival to check out. I have done a lot of travel and hotels but this was so far my best experience. It brings two worlds together and it’s absolutely have to visit place if you are looking for safari lodges'

'I am really, really tired of hotels claiming that they have ‘free wifi’ (I stay in hotels >300 nights per year). This hotel had only intermittent electricity (so no power to the small fan in the room at night). In 48 hour stay perhaps 2 hours of connectivity. I encourage Hotels.com to add a third category “wifi MAY be available”'

'Vom Manager bis zum Reinigungspersonal sind alle sehr freundlich und bemüht, dem Gast den bestmöglichsten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Sehr gute Küche, Zimmer sehr sauber. Viele Aktivitäten werden angeboten. Sogar ein Frühstück im Busch wurde uns ermöglicht. SEHR kinderfreundliche Lodge( unsere Jungs sind 5+7 und sehr aufgeweckt) Vielleocht die beste Unterkunft in der wir je waren, kann man nur weiterempfehlen!!!!'
