'Amazing site, overlooking the park and a lake. Good standard, excellent cleaning, comfy beds, okay restaurant, friendly and service minded staff. Bonus that the lions walked through the garden at night. '

'A lovely lodge on the edge of Murchison Falls National Park and the Nile. The staff were friendly and always escorted us to and from our lodge after dark in case of elephants (which we did encounter on the track to the lodge on one eve). The lodge was very large with Verandah and bathroom as well as 3 bedded bedroom. You can hear music at night from across the Nile so ear plugs would be recommended for light sleepers. It is so convenient for early morning games drives and the buffet breakfast...

'The accommodation is in the middle of the nature and offers great viewing possibilities for monkeys, birds, various insects and more. It is quiet, rooms are spacious, food is delicious. Brenda did a good job and was ready to help every time. Keep in mind, it's a community location. You need a torch to walk in the dark. Some small suggestions: small towel in the room and soap to wash your hands'

'We had meetings in nearby Lugazi and originally planned to stay in the town. However, when the option of staying in the nearby rainforest came up, I decided the cool of the forest and its quietness were a far better option.'

'The staff was good and rooms were big and clean - a bit gloomy though and the fourniture was uncomfortable. However, the food was poor and very expensive. Furthermore, the pool was small, cold and dirty. Overall Infeel this accommodation is very much overpriced.'

'My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....
